You see, I was really a lazy kid—like the kind of kid that left a butt print in the sofa from so many hours of watching tv. It took a few years (try 25), but I finally realized mindful movement brought my body into a happy place. I found yoga in 1998 and never looked back. Then I found Crossfit in 2014. It was a game-changer. Yoga and Crossfit combines make me feel strong, flexible and pretty darn awesome.
Yoga practice alone wasn’t enough to keep my body stable enough—and Crossfit alone didn’t give me the freedom and flexibility I craved. But with the powerful combination of both Yoga and Crossfit, I changed my body—and my life.
